he Wavestone UK offices are expanding significantly, driven by market demand for consulting advice/support in our specialist focus area of IT Infrastructure Transformation and Cloud Adoption. We help clients leverage the benefits of new infrastructure and cloud services to more effectively support their changing business objectives. We are looking for experienced IT Advisory professionals within the IT consulting sector at Senior Consultant and Manager level grade. The Manager role is a client facing, business development and delivery position within Wavestone. Their primary objectives are to the lead delivery on client site assignments to a high standard and to drive new business and revenue for Wavestone. Responsibilities: Relationship Management - developing quality relationships with client and client team Architects, designs, develops and manages the implementation of complex cloud infrastructure Works directly with client to gather requirements, design solutions, build proof of concepts and implement cloud solutions Lead the delivery of cloud readiness assessments for clients Assists in opportunity evaluation and leading or assisting on pursuits of new clients or within existing ones. Strategy - Strategy definition and review aligned to business objectives Delivery - Lead delivery engagements, carry out clear, structured and objective restitutions Project Management - be proactive to ensure the smooth running of assignments, demonstrate reliability and meet contractual commitments and deadlines People Development - support junior members, train and share knowledge Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the vision of Wavestone

Skills and experienced required Proven consulting, client facing background within a permanent role Good knowledge and hands-on experience of cloud infrastructure Good broad technical knowledge across public cloud vendors - eg. Azure, AWS, vCloud etc Understanding of Cloud & infrastructure integration, automation and orchestration Understanding Cloud platforms from a service provider perspective Background in IT infrastructure transformation and public cloud adoption Infrastructure Transformation migrations experience Enterprise architecture background preferred Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment process including tools, DevOps, Containers and Infrastructure as Code Client-focused mentality to understand and appropriately respond to their business needs Exceptional drive, interpersonal skills, and credibility to collaborate with clients, peers, and senior management to help develop solutions Ability to present solutions to senior stakeholders and gain their buy-in In addition, candidates selected for an interview will be expected to demonstrate: A successful degree-level academic background A passion for quality deliverables Ambition and a strong work ethic, passion for the quality of your work Excellent presentation, report writing and articulation skills A collaborative working style and evidence of being a team player The right to live and work in the UK, based in our London office and elsewhere as required
